The peace-offering ice cream is regarded a little skeptically - Vanitas isn't too fond of sweet things even if this body really likes them - but he takes the gesture for what it is and takes the stick delicately, picking at the plastic wrapping with the air of someone unused to such packaging being the norm.
"You said it before," he said nonchalantly, waving the icecream around a little. "This is Ventus's body. Fairly simple, even you can get it." It's still incredibly strange to see a Ventus (or... Not-Ventus?) not acting like his Ventus, but prior experience with meeting one before is giving him more of a smug foundation. He's not on the back foot this time. "If nobody's using it, it's free real estate."
He takes a small bite of the icecream, and can't stop a small expression of pleased surprise. It's not as overpoweringly sweet as he thought it would be, but more salty instead, just enough to offset what sweetness there is. His next bite is a little more normal.
"What do you mean, there's a me still running around." He sounds a little annoyed by this. Sure, it makes sense there'd be a him here, but two of them? Kairi had already made everyone sit down with a whiteboard, and this definitely didn't come up and would probably have necessitated a fourth marker colour. "If I'm half right, who's the other half?" C'mon, fill your end of this impromptu bargain.
